On the same trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton I was able to capture hundreds of animal shots. My biggest thrill was seeing the bears—Grizzlys and Black Bears—along with their cubs. Seeing all the Bison along with their calves is a beautiful site in the Spring. It is encouraging to see all the newborns throughout the park

I couldn't believe I caught this bird as it ran across the water and took to flight.

We were about 100 yards from this Black Bear and her cub with about 100 photographers clicking away.

By the end of the week I had my fill of Bison but I still couldn't stop photographing them.

These two young Grizzly cubs were playing like puppies. They're adorable until you notice their claws!

Synchronized swimmers!

Here I cheated. This wolf shot was taken from a preserve.

We all watched this pounce on its food all morning.

At this time of the year the calves were all over.

Maybe not a great image, but a great scene to watch.

I was almost shaking trying to capture this image. I couldn't believe we were just watching this Grizzly walk by.

The color of this animal against the background is beautiful.

Lucky enough to capture these bison as they grazed close to the stream giving off a mirror image reflection.

These three pelicans were inseparable.

Here again I was shaking trying to capture the image of this Black Bear. I was nervous and excited to actually be right in front of this bear.
