Still Life
Most of these images I create to use as a subject to paint. For some reason I feel like I am copying a painting when I download a Wyeth painting, for example, and then proceed to paint it. I feel like I am cheating. So I incorporate two of my hobbies—photography and painting. I set up a still life, photograph it, print it, and then bring it to art class and (try to) paint it.
This photo was created for a photo competition. The topic was "Naked" I called this "Naked Banana"
The fun part about this image is I bought all the props to photograph and then proceeded to eat all the props
